Measure out all the ingredients and place in a mixer with a dough hook attachment fitted.
Turn on at a slow speed to gather all the ingredients together then beat for 5-8 minutes.
Remove and place in an oiled bowl and cover with cling film allowing enough room for the dough to double in size. Place the bowl in a warm place. This will take between 45 minutes and an hour.
Next remove the cling film and knock back the dough. This means knead it again but with your hand. Do not overdo this. Then Place the dough into a loaf tin in a warm place and cover again and allow to rise. Usually takes about an hour.
Remove and bake in the oven at 210ºC for at least 20 minutes until evenly coloured and when it sounds hollow when tapped with your knuckles.
I use a large plastic bag to prove my bread in.
