Empty the tin of tuna into a bowl. Add onion, 3 spoonfuls mayonnaise, kidney beans and season with salt & pepper.
Use a fork to make it all into a firm (not mushy) blend.
Drain, empty and halve the potatoes and add to the tuna. Add the rest of the Mayonnaise, the chives and some salt and pepper. Use a wooden spoon to mix the potatoes with the Mayo.
Serve with a green salad.
For vegetarians mix together, chick peas, chopped watercress and mayonnaise. Then mix with the other ingredients.
