This recipe makes lovely soft cookies that are just delicious!

Pre-heat your oven to 180°C.

Cream the butter and sugars in a mixer or by hand.

Beat the egg, then combine with the mix and add the vanilla extract.

Add the salt and chocolate chips (if desired) and mix well.

Line baking trays with greaseproof paper, then take walnut-sized balls of the mix and space evenly.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until browning.


Add cocoa alongside the flour and sugar to make this a chocoholic's dream!

Reduce the cooking time to make them gooey.
