Butter Bean and Pesto Pasta

Serves 4 in 20 Minutes

Use any pasta you like but tri-colour spirals (Fusilli) will look very appetising. If you?re a meat eater then chuck in some pieces of cooked ham or bacon, enjoy!!!

Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente, then drain, leaving it a little wet.

Return the pasta to the pan, season with salt & pepper, and stir in the nutmeg and olive oil.

Heat the beans in a saucepan with the pesto and cream, stirring until the mixture begins to simmer. Toss the beans and pesto into the pasta and mix well.

Serve in pasta bowls with a green salad and crusty bread.
